New AI - More Advanced and Merciless AI
New Spawning Rules - Pod sizes will increase with time up to 6 on Legend.
New Faction Dark Events - Enemies can spawn as part of a special group e.g. PANDORA the toxic specialists.
New Weapons / Equipment - Enemies can wield a variety of weapons and equipment. e.g. Sniper rifles and Gremlins, Power Armour
New Model System - ADVENT Troops will be displayed as Trooper, Captain or Shieldbearer models depending on the class of armour they're wearing.

Stats Explained
7 Weapon Techs: Conventional, Gauss, Plasma, Laser, Alloy, Disruptor and Beam
8 Weapon Types: Pistol, Assault Rifle, SMG, Shotgun, DMR, Sniper Rifle, SAW, Heavy Cannon.
Specialist Weapons: Weapons grant their own abilities. e.g. Squadsight is now provided by using Sniper Rifle or DMR


All vanilla classes removed.
6 New classes Soldier, Scout, Hunter, Paladin, Codebreaker, Sniper
Each class controls their starting perk and stat progression as they rank up.
All classes share the same 42 perk options.
All classes can wield any non-MEC primary weapon.
All classes can wield any non-psionic secondary weapon.


All Non-Heavy armours including Kevlar provide 2 utility slots.
Kevlar has 3 varieties: Light, Heavy and Medium. Heavy provides more armour but loses mobility.
W.A.R. and E.X.O. share the same stats as standard armour but provides the heavy weapon slot.
New Defensive Armours: Rhino and BASTION have great armour stats but provide no extra utility slot.


Only starting items are infinite. e.g. Frag Grenades but not Plasma Grenade.
Once you research an item you will receive 1 item to be used the rest need to be built.
Researching new weapon variants requires an assault rifle but will receive one of the new weapons back.
You can analyse looted / experimental items to start building them yourself.
All Elerium-based equipment will require Elerium Cores that can be crafted or looted.
Weapon fragments can be used to build weapon upgrades
Soldier Corpses can be used to build implants.


All equipment that the ADVENT soldiers wield can be looted off their corpses if they aren't destroyed.
All factions drop equipment belonging to their faction that can be used to steal their technology.
Weapon fragments will drop if a weapon is destroyed otherwise you can use their weapons against them.
Armor Plates will drop if advanced armour is destroyed otherwise you can receive nice ADVENT disguises.
Elerium will drop if an Elerium Core is destroyed


After researching the highest level of biology techs and performing the relevant autopsy you can now provide all soldiers with a portion of the alien's traits. Health Regeneration, Iron Will, Poison Immunity etc.


Alien Hunter DLC fully integrated.
Alien Nest Mission not recommended until you reach full Tier 2 equipment.
Shen' Last Gift DLC fully integrated.
Tower Mission not recommended until you reach full Tier 2 equipment.
Alien Hunter weapons overhauled.
SPARK Equipment and stats overhauled.


Gatecrasher Overhaul: 5 Variants, each variant spawns a specific boss at the end of the level who can be very dangerous but their loot will enhance one aspect of tech significantly.

Blacksite Overhaul: To finish this mission early you will need a thorough understanding of the enemies who guard it.

Forge Overhaul: To complete this mission you will need a thorough understanding of the enemies who guard it and come prepared. Beware of the SENTINEL.

Psi-Gate Overhaul: To complete this mission you will need a thorough understanding of the enemies who guard it and come prepared. "That which is dead may never die."

ADVENT Tower Overhaul: To complete this mission you will need to prepare yourself against the most elite soldiers ADVENT has at its disposal. Prepare for anything.

Fortress Overhaul: "Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of Hell"
